Trajectoire Québec is an organization that represents residents and promotes their interests with regard to public transportation throughout Québec. Trajectoire Québec brings together and mobilizes residents, organizations and corporations through its expertise in mobility. The organization acts through advocacy, mobilization campaigns, media campaigns and the annual Guy-Chartrand Awards.
Founded in 1977 by public transportation users, Trajectoire Québec is an influential organization in the field of transportation and mobility throughout Québec. The organization works hand-in- hand with all mobility stakeholders in Québec to achieve common goals by contributing to the overall development of public transportation.
The organization is founded by Harry Gow, Jacinthe Mathieu, Anshel Melamed and Jaques R. Laberge.
Calls on provincial and municipal governments to assume their responsibilities concerning the Montreal commuter trains. The Québec government grants financial assistance to the CTCUM to resume service on the Rigaud and Deux-Montagnes lines.
After countless meetings with users, briefs to parliamentary commissions, public meetings in the cities involved, press conferences and more, the Ministère des Transports du Québec modernizes the Deux-Montagnes line.
Holds the annual Guy-Chartrand Awards and Trajectoire’s annual benefit breakfast. This signature event allows stakeholders in the field to hear directly from the Québec Minister of Transport.
Participates in the creation of the organization Transit - l’Alliance pour le financement des Transport collectifs au Québec.
Symposium on bus services that will lead the STM to implement all-door boarding in June.
The organization refreshes its identity to improve outreach to the Québec population. The organization’s new name is Trajectoire Québec, and its tagline is “people for public mobility”.
